Louise Hickman the owner of The Piercing Urge in Melbourne has been involved in the piercing world since 1990. Louise has a bachelor of Science in Physiology and Immunology.
A piercer for many years she also devotes her time to the administration of the business and teaching what she has learnt over the years in the Piercing Urge training courses. Her interest is primarily in helping others to explore piercing in a safe and educated way, this includes her staff, students and most importantly her customers.
Her piercing specialties are in genital and nipple work.
Sharing what she has learnt is her way of continuing to have an effect on the future shaping of the piercing industry in Australia. She spends time working with government organizations, schools and community groups as an advisor on the piercing industry.
Louise also runs a very successful personal development business specializing in helping others to be the best they can be.
