The Prince Albert or PA as it is usually known, is probably the most popular genital piercing for men. A piece of jewellery, usually a ring, is inserted from the underside of the penis at the 'V' of the glans through the wall of the urethra and exiting at the meatus or 'eye' of the head of the penis.
Legend has it that Queen Victoria's husband. Prince Albert, first used this piercing as a means of tying his rather large endowment to his thigh so that it was not so obvious when wearing the tight trousers that were fashionable at the time! Other stories say that he wore it to give the Queen more pleasure during intercourse and to hold his foreskin back so that the Queen could inspect the head for cleanliness without having to touch it! There is no way of knowing whether any of these stories are true, but given the erotic games of Victorian times, who knows!
