The Frenum piercing is made on the underside of the penis through the loose skin just below the 'V' of the glans where the foreskin is (or used to be for those who are circumcised) attached. The piercing can provide heightened sensitivity for the wearer and/or his partner. Small rings can often be seen dangling from these piercings which are for decorative purposes only.
Alternatively, a ring or loop can be worn around the shaft of the penis just below the head which, when the penis is erect, can have the same effect as a cock ring causing the head to become engorged with blood prolonging erection and providing extra sensation.
Correct sizing, placement and fitting of the ring or loop are essential if the benefits of this piercing are to be realised. If the ring or loop is too large it will have no effect at all. If it is too tight it will be painful and uncomfortable for the wearer.
